Week Thirteen

Here are last week's shots, only a day later than planned. Lots of black and white this week, and sorry, they're all Hipstamatic (I am still obsessed). I promise to bring the proper camera out again soon!

Sunday
After a really early start, Dave came home and promptly fell asleep on me on the couch.

Monday
Tynecastle (the football stadium in our street) in the sunshine on my way home.

Tuesday
The beautiful light hitting the buildings out back.

Wednesday
The plague begins. Didn't get out of bed much at all for 72 hours.

Thursday
This must be my "woe is me, I'm sick" face.

Friday
By the 3rd day I was pretty tired of just hanging out with my laptop.

Saturday
Still taking it easy, this is view from our bedroom.

Week Twelve

Okay so I spent 3 days this week in bed with a stomach bug. Ironically, I had all my photos and my laptop, so should have been more active, but I felt too terrible to do much more than play with my shiny new iPhone.

Whenever I have lots of free time to myself, I always wish I were able to work on my sorting system on the laptop and drives, properly sort my folders and storage and get my music gear together. Unfortunately, I end up sleeping, watching trashy television that Dave won't watch, or getting distracted by pretty things in online stores.

Once I get the 1TB drive, I imagine there'll be a big overhaul, and my OCDness is already tingling in anticipation.

Anyway.

Here is Week Twelve, where a lot of photos were on the iPhone via the Hipstamatic app that I have become obsessed with. I'll post week Thirteen tomorrow as normal.

Spring sunshine through the window.

Monday
Stressful day for the both of us: I was essentially on the couch as soon as I got in.

Tuesday
My new toy arrives! Comparing new with the old.

Wednesday
Hipstamatic! so awesome. Hard working when you have a toy to play with.

Thursday
On the bus.

Friday
After over-wearing my contacts far too long, I worked most of the day in glasses.

Saturday

Week Eleven

Sunday

We're almost ready for the piano, now!

Monday
Found my wee pin I used to wear at the airport.

Tuesday
Creative camera work through our door's peephole. Odd result.

Boxes still everywhere, but we're setup.

Saturday
Definitely spring: crocuses popping up.

I have finally succumbed and got myself a Tumblr.

OMG Everything is random stuff I find on the internet that really entertains me.

Week Ten

Another week down, another week closer to sunshine.

Sunday
Mmmmm snuggly blanket. Sundays can be good that way.

Monday
And suddenly, just like that, the sun came out on March 1st, the first day of spring.

Tuesday
Mmmm yellow chocolate from home. They don't make it anymore, though! tastes like banana, pineapple, and as my niece said, "sunshine".

Wednesday
You sure get a lot of sunrise/sunset pictures. Sorry. I like them a lot.

Thursday
My Nana slippers. So comfy.

Friday
So pleased the week is over, heading home in the pretty light.

Saturday
On the dance floor while out for goodbye drinks.

Week Nine

Last week was kinda insane.

This was accidental. Seriously. It had to be picked.

Our board. I love our board. And Dave, obviously.

Snow again! Exciting. Didn't last, though. I walked to work in a mini blizzard.

Thursday
I had a client meeting, so I went super-corporate. First time in that dress, and it's a winner.

Hurray! week over.

Saturday
Snowy trees on the way to Glasgow to pick up Dave's family.
